So i picked up my 2012 screw a couple weeks ago and when I leave the truck running and walk far enough away that my phone disconnects from the sync system and come back I have to manually reconnect it. Also regardless of weather I have to manually connect it or it automatically connects (which only happens on start up) I have to turn off the annoying text notifications EVERY TIME..... Any pointers?

The text to speech via Bluetooth/Headset can be turn off in the phone.

Automatically reconnecting would be a nice feature.
Even when I use remote start and I'm too far away I have to manually connect once I get in.
I don't think any make or model does that.

My 2011 will disconnect if i walk out of range, have to manually reconnect when getting back in, but using my remote start, it will only connect when the key is in and turned to the run position for the system to boot up.

Well that's somewhat disappointing lol at least its not just mine! Guess that just means I'll be leaving my phone in my truck if I let it run from now on :emotions122:

I walk a pretty good distance from the truck before it disconnects , the problem is when the phone rings while its on you.
If you answer it, your screwed still connected to truck, and your not in it to talk, lol.

As some have stated above I have an Iphone 5 and no matter what when I walk away and it disconnects as soon as I get back in the seat my phone hooks back up. Might be a setting in your bluetooth options on your phone?
