Talked to my sales guy. He sent the service guy my invoice and verified. Just need to go pick it up from the service dept manager.

you got your letter in the mail without bothering the dealer?
Nope. Never got a letter. I reached out to my dealer and then happened to get the check the next day. I'm guessing it was already in process and in the mail - there's no way he moved that fast.

I got my 21' in September and still haven't received a letter. I assume it has the BlueCruise prep kit. Definitely has the camera on the driver's side pillar.

Starting to get a runaround. I went to the service manager to get the check as i was informed. I got there and they told me that i needed to have my recalls fixed and in the system before they could release the refund. Took my truck there for the recall work and now the service manager is on vacation. Apparently he is the only one that has the "credentials" to do it. He will be back on vacation mid next week....

Dealer full of folks and he’s the only one that knows how to write a f’ing check? So if he goes on vacation (which he is) or gets sick, everybody else is f’ed. Boy, talk about job security!

Yeah. I want to take my wifes expedition in for an oil change and not pay. Tell them she will pay when she gets back from vacation.

Update.

Yesterday = The service manager stated that he checked with the warranty administrator and that the paper work has been processed and waiting on ford approval.

Today = The service manager called my wife to inform her that the process has changed. He has to mail the paperwork to ford then ford will mail the refund directly to us.

So i'm not really sure. From what i understand, Some dealerships got the refund money and later purchases will get the refund directly from Ford rather than the dealership? My problem is, If i werent able to see the SSM, I would have no idea about the refund and i would have never been told. I know for a fact that i was one of the first raptors bought at this dealership so i highly doubt they have any clue what the hell to do this process either. Just seems like one story after another...

They make the process convoluted and confusing with the hope that some will either be unaware or unwilling to follow through. Saves them $.

This approach is becoming more and more common in all types of business in America.

Oct purchaser here. This whole refund process has been a bit irritating. I stopped by my dealer this past Monday & spoke with my sales lady who directed me to contact Customer Relations. Upon contacting Customer Relations, the gentleman confirmed my info & that I’m due a BC refund per program 22L02 expiring Sep 23. He proceeded in directing me back to the dealer for further info.

I’m a bit irritated as I had just left the dealer. So I called Customer Relations the following day (to speak w/ someone different mainly) and the young lady was a bit more pleasant. She said there are two (2) processes (depending on purchase date). For purchases prior to Feb 14, those owners ”will” receive a 3 page letter from Ford requesting your signature & copy of purchase agreement mailed back to Ford. For purchases after Feb 14, those owners are to contact their dealer to get started on the refund process.

Given this, I’m still posted up on my mailbox waiting on this letter. The “only” positive from this was seeing my sales lady again! Damn she is smoking hot…I MEAN SMOKIN’!! We talked for nearly 20 minutes and I could hardly concentrate on the damn conversation.
