Blue vinyl hood wrap on black truck.....

the 3M blue metallic is pretty bad ass looking. i got some vinyls with the blue metallic from Designs N Signs and its really nice looking.

I know what u mean... The matte doesn't pop like it does on the other colors. Personally the hood with a blue rap would be to much for my taste and the black is suppose to kinda be a sleeper that slaps you upside the head when u see it.

My suggestion would be to go with a 1/2" wide pinstripe like I did but instead of a red go with the blue u r wanting. It will separate the matte and make it stand out better. It would also be cheaper to see if u liked it or not. Just a thought but for my taste would be more tasteful.

I'm not familiar with the blue metallic wrap material but from the description it sounds like it could cause a light reflection or glare issue?

I'm black as well and have been thinking about a matte grey or dark silver. Something for accent.

I have the "Raptor Performance Group" dine in the matte blue metallic on my truck. Everyone, including myself, thinks it looks purple. The matte metallic does have a tendency to change colors and I bet it would look awesome in the sunlight on the hood! Matte metallic colors are awesome and they do "pop." Definitely better than a regular matte. The only thing I would be hesitant about is the tuxedo black. It tends to look a goldfish color in the light and I wouldn't think the blue would go with that. Wrapping the whole truck in the matter blue metallic would be awesome!!!

After the spring 13 I noticed that I really like blue raptors. I love my black but I have become a big fan of the blue. I currently have a matte black wrap on my hood, but I think I'm going to put a 3M matte blue metallic wrap on the hood and see how it looks. I've considered wrapping the whole truck but I don't want to pay 4 G's for it. I wrapped the hood myself the first time and it was pretty easy. If I don't like it ill only be out the 80 bucks it cost for the vinyl. What do you guys think about the black truck w blue hood idea?

I like the contrast of the blue on black on the charger. The beemer shows the exact color of the vinyl I would use.
