GEN 2 Blue Accent Package Pics- New pics at end of first post

The blue is growing on me, but I only feel the blue works with a black or blue exterior. My current exterior is lighting blue. So, next truck will not be blue. Ford was out at Utah motor sports for the 2019 raptor showing. Inside a engineer was talking about the new features on the truck and it looked like they had a black recaro seat sitting on a display. So here's hoping ford will offer all black in 2020. I will most definitely pay for the recaro seats then.

Recaro are not that appealing to my eyes, but I am still happy for you. No way I will hate on it. Just my opinion. On the positive I like those fake carbon fiber around the vents and some other places.

You aren’t going to hurt my feelings by expressing your opinions. You do damage your credibility by taking a stance without having experienced it personally (I.e. every post of yours on shocks). Then you say may hold out for a 19.....but to each his own.

I was scared to death they would look like the bright blue that I posted. Didn’t realize how bright they looked when I posted it, until a group on FB pointed out how unattractive they looked. They are actually subdued and look like below. If you don’t like those, all good, they aren’t for everyone. I have no problem agreeing to disagree on a subjective topic. I have them and couldn’t be more thrilled with them. My friends agree and they aren’t ones to sugar coat anything, but at the end of the day, it is what I like - and I love them. They look great to me, are extremely comfortable.

Thanks for the thread. I much prefer the Blue Recaros and it’s one of the main reasons I’m upgrading from my 2017 w/ Orange accent interior (which I loved).

Once you’ve had the upgraded interior (aluminum) when you sit in a standard interior with all plastic, it feels cheaper. It also gives the truck a better interior feel with the added Alcantara.

The interior was a more important feature than the exterior color when choosing my truck.

Just my opinion-I realize some people don’t like the blue.

Why would ford do this? Why should we be forced to have Recaro for the vent carbon fiber?

I like the blue, but have to say I prefer the orange accent.

Having seen it in person, it looks quite good. Much darker than photos would have you believe, just like the applique colors. I don't personally like the CF everywhere, or the blue on the sides of the console lid, but the stitching is quite nice and I wish my truck had it.

my Audi had Alcantara seats and I hated them. hard to keep clean, they can stain. and hold moisture in the summer from sweat, or swim suit.
