Blown Sony Speaker

I'm cleaning my truck inside and I'm pretty sure my back speaker is blown in the door. Is this covered under bumper to bumper? I don't listen to my stereo loud or anything.

I know BMWs bumper to bumper didn't cover speakers because they can't tell if the speaker blew due to someone turning the volume up too loud or not. I'd assume its the same, but you never know, each dealer can be different.

shouldn't they design the stereo speakers to be able to put out more than the amp can? then they won't blow

You would think...lol. but who knows, I know if I crank the volume up all the way the speakers sound like deal and that can't be good...but I'm no audio tech.
