6.2 ,Volant intake , 5 star tune, mbrp turndown .

I will be honest I have my foot Into a lot and probably way to much, I was getting onto the freeway and layed into just like any other time and it let go. I was forced to push it a half mile to the next exit and as soon as I hit the dirt lot it died. Now it started back up it just sounded horrible like you would expect.

62.5k miles

Sucks for sure. Maybe a bit to much timing and a bad batch of gas made for the perfect storm which led to detonation. By chance was it cold that day?

I guess not pat! It was hard at first but I always looked at it as it could have been worse , at least this was a lesson learned and fixable. It really made me see things from a different view, this is my DD not a trophy truck , time to start saving up for a real off road machine now that I have been blessed with the proper resources

I'm not too sure, I was running shell 91 and the engine was at operating temp, the air temp was an average so cal winter day, just enough to wear a light hoodie. I was running synthetic gold at the time
