Turns out it was the BCM. Code showing was “blinker ground short fault”. Funny part is, it was showing the same code for left and right but the right side was working. He cleared the codes and they never came back up, both sided working. You need to have a pretty advanced reader to get into the BCM codes though. Ford dealership said they could clear them for $150. I’m going to try to find the ground once the hunting season is over and I have more time. For now, it’s working.

Would it have possibly reset itself by just disconnecting the battery for a bit? That was the original "Reboot" method.

That did nothing for me. The only reset I could do was having him dig into the BCM. It might work for other people, but for whatever reason mine wouldn’t get past the code on the left side. The right side threw the same code awhile back and never stopped working. The left side threw it even longer ago and just now stopped….I’m not going to try to begin to understand why the BCM does what it does. Allegedly, there is an about $15 BCM reader you can get off amazon that connects to your phone that is decently advanced and works to clear it.
