You were right! But I found this stuff - it's got more favorable reviews and it's backordered only 3 months

Thanks to everyone who suggested a bulb might be out. I'll recheck them again.

OH ******** I need to get some of that for Christmas gifts!

Just a heads up guys : I had an 2008 Edge that started doing this shit after about 30K . Would check the bulbs and they were all good. Rear Bulb holders heat stressed aka like wattage was too high. Replaced bulbs , would be intermittent . Finely looked into it and low and behold Ford had developed special bulbs to address this issue . Steelership only item, when I went to buy them the parts guy thought I was nuts ( which may be true ) he punched in the part number I gave him and he was like know shit . Anyhow it did fix the issue . Root cause is apparent to me and an entire different story , I just hope Ford put the fix in later models and to me the right way would not be special bulbs.

May have a bulb out which decreases resistance and increases the flasher speed.

Bulb burnt out

Bulb is out...just in case you need another opinion

Or, perhaps a burnt out bulb?

what they said

I'm not sure if it has been said but could be a burnt bulb, haha:ROFLJest:

I'm going to fight the tide and step out on a limb here: you have a bulb out.

What about little LED lights? I know that mine kinda flicker when I put on the turn signals, so perhaps one of those are out or a loose connection?

Is any one of them brighter than another (indicating its about to pop)?

You're 110% positive all bulbs are working? Remember, the rears have two blinker bulbs inside the housing, per side.

With one of my LED rears, it was a ground issue. I pulled the one taillight and it worked normally... I put it back in, hyper flash. Took it out, normal. Kep the blinker on during install and was able eventually to get it back in and operating normally. MAY be something along these lines. /shrug. Just an idea.
