I think some of you need to goggle black chrome. It isn't at all like it sounds.
There's a durable dull/matt black finish that is available. I'm not wanting anything that shines, more like the paint but not easy to scratch like the paint. It would actaully be duller than the paint.

I am curious though, how do you plan to get the bumper chromed? Do they make a chrome paint that you can spray it with? Then go over it with a tint of sorts? Just wondering.
Here is an example of "black chrome" that I think works will with the truck. I used a chrome tint on this.
