I think some of you need to goggle black chrome. It isn't at all like it sounds.

There's a durable dull/matt black finish that is available. I'm not wanting anything that shines, more like the paint but not easy to scratch like the paint. It would actaully be duller than the paint.

I was being my typical smarcastic self..

I think most of us are just F'in with you............I think. Black chrome is nice on some parts, esp wheels, but I think its a finish best for sports/muscle cars.

I am curious though, how do you plan to get the bumper chromed? Do they make a chrome paint that you can spray it with? Then go over it with a tint of sorts? Just wondering.

Here is an example of "black chrome" that I think works will with the truck. I used a chrome tint on this.

I really like what you did with the Ford oval...NICE

I'm thinking the skid plate needs to be black too. I'm going to have to get down low to see what a VW or Prius driver sees when I pull up behind them.....

Actually, I only had about 2500 miles on the truck when I did this so that is just clean paint!

My skid plate will not be getting painted do to the fact that it does not really exist anymore...
