Man this looks awesome!!!

I will have to try and clear my schedule.
This would be my first time driving in sand. Any tips for stock raptor on midperch for driving on the sand (tire pressures offroad settings etc.)

BTW where can I get a 10 foot flag in the OKC metro area ?

Thanks

They have flags there and some of the gas stations have free air to air your tires back up.

Talk with WSI for a recovery hook flag mount, or James at alternative office offroad for a sticky whip suction cup mount. Both are excellent ways to mount a flag, I've used both.

Don't know if we can make it out...
It's a long drive from Omaha... will be even longer once we move to the east cost in July...

Was hoping you guys could make it Joe. Reassemble the original jumpin team who have learned from lessons past haha.

Unfortunately the flags/poles you can get there don't have an easy place to mount.

At Lil Sahara last October, I secured mine somewhat against the tailgate by shutting the BakFlip on it, but it moved around some.

Going to try for a different solution this time. Does anyone make a receiver hitch mount version?

Or I might go with 2 flag poles this time - one in each corner of the bed

They look like this

Need a hole that will accept the 9/16" headed bolt

The top end of the flag pole has a small hose clamp that is easily removed to accept other flags or if you want more than one.

There is a rubber grommet below that is easily moved up or down

The orange flag is mandatory on one of your flag poles

There is a receiver mount I saw for 75 with a quick connect. Alternative is out of stock for sticky whips. Will call wsi in morning.

What time are you guys going to get there?

Plan to leave by 5am, so should be there well before noon.

Here's a quick solution to the flag mount issue for those who are out of time and have a receiver hitch (or just go ahead and buy the hitch if you don't already have one)

Home Depot - get a receiver hitch off the shelf and head to the nut @ bolt aisle.

The flag whips they sell at Lil Sahara have a short version 3/8" FINE thread bolt. You will need this 1.5" length

Then, you will need some washers that fit the bolt and that will adapt that huge hole made for a hitch ball bolt

These worked perfectly (included are the letter "codes" that Home Depot identifies them with)

4 "ALC" washers (to cover the outside of hitch hole top and bottom)

*** Looking at the pic - these don't match the bin info I found them in! Be sure to take a hitch with you so you can make all this easy!

4 "ABB" washers(to adapt the bigger washer down to the correct size)

9 "ACB" washers (to fill up the inside if the hitch hole, so that this is a solid mount that doesn't shift around

This will leave you with approx 1 inch of thread for the flag whip (which comes with it's own locking washer)
