I'm shocked at anyone who can't get at least 25,000 miles on the stock BFG AT KO tires.

Any less than that and I really wonder how the truck is being driven/used.

These tires should go 30-40,000 miles depending on use.

After I had my mid-perch done by Four Wheel Parts here in So. Cal. they had a hard time getting the alignment right, I had to get it done twice and it took them several hours. I think they just said "**** it" and set it to a trophy truck like camber. After a few thousand miles I saw the inside of the stockers getting way more worn than the outside. I took it to the Ford dealership and they corrected the alignment for street driving and rotated the tires. For the first thousand miles or so the camber-worn back tires sprayed a lot of rubber dust up in to the fender liners, I think from the thicker outer tread. Today (after 5000 miles or so) I had them rotated back to the front and the inside still looks more worn than the outside. I'm hoping I'll get 30k out of them but it's not looking good.

For me at least, it's the coral based gravel trails and roads that really eat them up. Well, that partnered with my right foot.

Whtrapta should post a pic of his "off-road use only" BFGs. I saw them at TRR and it looked like a T-rex chewed on the tires.

I've gotten almost 48K out of my original BFG's and would get more if the inside of both fronts and backs weren't wearing thin. I don't do smoky burnouts, but Im not all that easy on them either.... I asked the Ford dealer if this was an alignment issue and he said wear on the inside was normal for these trucks. I'm thnkin he was shittin me....and I would have been willing to pay for an alignment if needed. I guess if I can get 45K+ out of the BFG's, that's where I'm going for the next set...although I really like the Goodyear Kevlars.

My tires also wear a lot on the inside, I think it might actually be normal cause I get my alignment checked often and all measurements are within limits, in fact they haven't changed much at all from where the factory set it

3600 miles on mine and they are chunked already, I have noticed on past full size trucks after about 25K they don't balance out well and you get the steering wheel shake on the freeway... Not a fan of the BFG A/Ts on heavier trucks.. They are my favorite tire for smaller rigs and work great in the sand.. Have them on my Samurai
