BFG KM2 vs Goodyear MTR

Had my KM2s in the snow and some ice for the first time last week... They did good. They've performed really well in the dirt and rocks too. I've only got about 8-10k on them so far, but no complaints yet and they are well mannered on the road for a mud tire. So far I like this tire better than the Grabbers I had before. Time will tell.

Snow is snow as long as it sticks... The only variable from here to there is the amount.

But, snow isn't snow. Lots if different types of snow. And many many different types of snow/ice combos when it comes to driving and road conditions.

I think siped KM2's would be pretty damn awesome though.
Good on ice/packed snow due to added sipes, and great in deep stuff. That's one are all terrains like duratracs an my falkens wouldn't be good in. Deep wet heavy snow.
Km2's would just love that stuff.

The reviews I read say that the KM2 side walls are suspect, and puncture easy. I have a set of the MTR Kevlar side walls on my Jeep and they don't stop good in the Rain, mine are the old style tread pattern though.
How much do the KM2's and G/Y MTR'S weigh in 35x12.50/17 and are they both 10 PLY.
I put my Toyo MT's which are 10 ply on a scale and they weighed 79 pounds, are the other two really much lighter? Also I wonder if tread depth is the same in all three tires.
