It sounds like all was as it should be in this scenario. Tire fails...as all things are prone to do sometimes. Then he calls BFG and they cover damages and part of the tire replacement cost. Nothing I've read here would stop me from buying BFG KM2s or any BFG product.

I have had new ones fail---sidewall went first day at the ranch. Limestone in a washed run in the road going very slow tore a "flap" out. Made a bigger mistake----Dune Grapplers the next time!!!!! Did great in the rocks, dirt and regular dirt but SUCKED in the rain and snow!

If Goodrich gave me a set I would sell them here---never again. Had several KO's fail as well on the sidewall. The "Baja Tough" marketing is just that marketing and BS at that. Sorry but 3 bad KO's and one KM2 over the last 5 years make it hard to like a product when other brands go the same places with no trouble. Here is a pic of what tires look like when I get home-- BFGTires002.jpg

Hmm... I never had any trouble with my BFG products. Ran several sets of A/Ts M/Ts and Krawlers. That being said, I'm sold on Goodyear now. MT/Rs were the best tires I ever ran in the rocks. The DuraTracs are an amazing tire with great off-road traction and decent on-road performance.

I've heard a few stories about the Km2's blowing out, or not lasting long, but that's most likely user error.

Will agree on the MTR's but they do not have any in 37's!!!! If they did it they just might be on my truck now.
