I've decided it's cheaper for me to just have someone else do it twice a year. I'll have them spray the nano on it and all I have to do is spray it off. I take my micro mitt with a bucket of car soap and wash it off works good. you start a detailing clinic get one of those going Fred I have no idea what I'm doing. how long should it take to wash, dry, wax, than what do you do mine is always all smudgy looking. and if I drive it it's all dusty more than if I just leave it alone.

I am lucky that I keep mine in a garage. I do agree that trying to keep this beast clean can be a full time job...

I do a "heavy clean" every 6 months:

1- Wash the truck from head to toe
2- Dry it, which is a bitch in itself
3-Clay bar the entire truck using Mequiar's Quick Detailer or Adams detailer sprays to keep things moist
4-Tutrle Wax Ice - Polish the entire truck
5-Wax with Meguiar's NXT Wax Kit (TechWax 2.0) or Adams Buttery Wax
6- Let wax cure for at least a hour depending on weather conditions
7-Wait 24 hours and wax again
8- Wipe down all the plastic and trime with Adams VRT Dressing or Adams In and Out Spray
9- Spray the fender wells and running boards with Adams Invisible Undercarriage Spray
10- Spray the glass with Mequiar's Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner (does not hurt tint if you do the inside of the windows)

I come back once a weak with Meguiar's Quik Wax

For the inside I use a microfiber towel, wet it with warm water and spray it with Pledge dust & Allergen and wipe down the interior.
For the seats I use Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Conditioner

In the winter months I shake the floor liners out if it gets a lot of rocks on it.

what's the time line in doing the list above. a few days hr I know the more you do it the less time it takes. I have used a interior detailer but only in the summer if I had a good garage I would probably do it every time I came home. ok almost every time.

I can do all in half a day and come back the next day for 30 minutes to do the last coat of wax and just push a towel around the truck...now I enjoy cleaning the truck, since I push paper all day it is nice to see some instant results, so if you take 5 hours you could have your truck looking slicker than eel shit...

The Mequiar's Ultimate Quick Wax is the shit...Birdman turned me on to it...You can put that shit on in direct sunlight it doesn't matter...

That and its also one of the few spray waxes I have that is still easy to apply in freezing temps. It lasts quite a while too for a spray wax, usually about 3-4 weeks for me. It's a very underrated spray wax.

You can save yourself a lot of money and buy it in it's gallon version, Meguiar's D156 Synthetic X-press Spray Wax.

Wilson I have tried the Eagle One Nano wax spray. It works pretty good. Now I have not used any high dollar Nano waxes so I don't know.

Try the Eagle one Spray and see if you like it or not...

Damn Wilson...Now I want to go clean my truck...Might have to take the afternoon off!

it would be a long drive but I'm bringing my kid's well 3 any how. little guy has to stay home. oh and dog lot are bringing their dog. would be a perfect vacation. I'm 100% committed but if it rains I'm screwed and will have to stay and finish putting in the crops but should know how it's looking by end of April. one spot left is all.
