Why is Jake still around......

I'm new, but he's useless.

Because he hasn't done the ONE THING that will get you banned around here these days. Same with Sasquatch.

Also for anyone else who is interested, I did a little looking and found the smaller lift blocks. These should lower the rear slightly while still keeping pinon angles good to go and retaining a strike plate for the factory rubber-dog-toy bump stops.

I think the Gen1 had 2" blocks but the Gen2 has 1.5" blocks so these wont lower the truck. I've seen some 1" blocks but not that have the bump stop tab. Shackles may still be the best option unless you do a 1" block and the separate bump stop pad like you add with Deavers.

Ah good to know, haven't seen the block on the new ones. I'd personally go shackle too, but I was trying to throw an alternative out there for people.

The best alternative would be a set of Deaver +1 springs. But that is a little more spendy than shackles.

I'd call Camburg and see if they have any shackles that will work for the Gen 2. They do for the Gen 1.

Camburg Ford Bronco 80-96 / F-150 04-14 / Raptor 1.5 MIG Shackles | Camburg Engineering

I have their TIG shackles (stock height), which fortunately/unfortunately I installed at the same time as my Deavers. The rear end is night and day better with my current setup than it was stock but I can't say how much is from the better shackles.

There was a thread I saw where a company was selling shorter rear blocks to level the truck.

That worked on Gen1. They had 2" blocks and people would swap for 1.5". The Gen2 has 1.5" blocks so there isn't currently a shorter block to swap for. There are shorter blocks out there but not thst have the bump stop integrated like the OEM block.
