Hello. I want to detail mine this coming weekend and would like to know which brand car wash and wax I should use. I read on here that Adams makes some great products and I’ll probably be ordering the Super VRT to use on the graphics but don’t want to wait for their other stuff to show up in the mail. Want to go to the local stores and get it in the next day or two. I know this is subjective and opinions will vary but am still curious what others think are the best cleaning products.

If you have Amazon Prime, you could but it off of Amazon from Adam's and select one-day shipping at checkout. You'd pay a premium, but you'd have it tomorrow.

I know, but I just got it and “have spent enough this month”. I might have a problem justifying a $100 container of car wax. :D For now just looking for the best I can get locally at an AutoZone type place. I’ll save the expensive stuff for after I sell my old F150 this is replacing.

Buttery Wax

Shampoo

$30 to your door for both.

You'd spend about the same amount at Autozone for stuff like Mother's or Meguiar's. I've used Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax before and I was happy with the results.

Oh....well when you put it like that. I was on Adams site and must have been looking at other items, i didn't see anything that inexpensive. Thanks!

You were probably looking at the Americana. It's a premium grade wax and the price reflects it.

Nick's leading you down the right path! "Best" and "bought at the local store" often don't work out well in the same sentence.

They Buttery Wax and Car Wash Shampoo Nick linked are the same price direct through us, or through Amazon. The do stock some of our items through, so it you need it in a hurry and have a Prime membership, free 2nd Day shipping is sweet!

If you're referring to a $100 wax, I'm guessing you looked at the Premium Shine Kit, which includes our Americana Paste Wax (far superior to Buttery) as well as Brilliant Glaze, applicators, and towels for that price. The wax itself is $69.95.

I used adams car wash shampoo and spray detail spray and used butter wax... my truck looks like brand new..

Just using the shampoo and detail spray before drying it made the truck look brand new.. they wax added depth..

This was my first really truck wash I did on the truck too.. used to go to drive thru's..
