Man, we had an awesome first experience at Anza Borrego yesterday. We left our house in San Clemente around 9am and arrived at the visitors center around 11:20am. From there, we stopped at Galleta Meadows and time ok some pics of the dragon. After that we headed to Fonts Point where I was able to get the truck to about 60 mph in the wash. Holy crap, what a blast! I just dropped her in Baja mode and let her rip. Last stop was the slots. I took @Hasty ’s suggestion on the trail to the slots were we had more high speed time and some pretty amazing scenery. My whole family had a great time, I’ll definitely be coming back. Next time might be overnight though so we can explore more of the park.

Here are a few pics from the trip:

Looks fun! I’m in Murrieta so Anza is pretty close to me too. What was the entry fee at the visitors center?

$10 which was strange because I have never paid to go into a visitor center before. I always thought they were free. First and last time for us. We stayed for about 5 min, the kids were NOT having fun there. Haha!

Glad ya had a blast. Man I love that Visitor Center lol, at some point in the last 25+ years they started charging $10, wasnt aware of that. Oh well I'm sure it goes to a good cause.
