I've seen plenty of debates on which tires are the best for the Raptor, but it usually seems to be more oriented towards tires that work great out in the Southwest area. (Not hatin', actually jealous that I'm not anywhere near that area to give my Raptor a little desert run).

Anyway, here in the Mid-Atlantic area, we have more factors to consider than just looks cool and performs on a hot desert trail. I'm looking for tires that work well on highways (not a lot of road noise), and handle well for some off road driving, as well as work on hot, dry, wet, muddy, snowy, and/or icy conditions.

Can't say I'm not happy with the stock tires (got nearly 40k on them), but I would like something that looks more aggressive but still has at least as good handling (if not better).

I live in Virginia. Pulled my stock BFGs with 10,000 miles on them and put on Wrangler Duratracs. Much better in the recent snow we just had. Duratracs have softer rubber won't wear as long but the harder BFGs were a little slippery on wet surface. My back end slipped entering a highway in light rain. I will put the BFGs back on in summer and run two sets of tires. The Duratracs look really good as well.

Up here in MI, with rain and snow, I really like my Goodyear Duratracs

Do GY Duratracs. Looks aggressive and just a great all around tire

Couldn't agree more, my winter tires are Duratracs and really like them for snow and rain.
Pretty quite on the HWY as well.

I once drove a Raptor with Cooper tires and they were quieter than BFGs
But, I do not know how they perform in rain & snow.
