eBay Motor is a good one, that's how I bought mine.
eBay display's brick and mortar as well as private.
I purchased mine from a dealer in Texas and had it shipped to me in NYC.

Bought my 03' F350 on Ebay in Houston in 2005. Flew down, put cell phone on tire and proceeded to run it over. It was the quietest 4 day trip I've had in like forever. Just turned 200k miles. It's going to my 17 year old when I get my Screw.

For my money, $42k+ is too high. Id show up with $35k and accept the results.

It use to be that you would want to buy from a private party and not a dealership. But nowadays with all the scams that are out there, I'm afraid buying from dealerships is much safer. It's amazing how many scam Raptor listings there are. 13' Rough Raptor with 57k miles for $22k....really? And all of these listings do not show the city where the truck is and have super short (like 2 lines) in poorly written english and usually with factual errors.

It really is. Most states also have a buyer beware law now. If you buy a vehicle from a dealer and it breaks down quick, you can fight them for it. If you buy private party and it breaks, tough luck.

Auto Tempest is interesting. It seems to use different sites at different times. I see at the top that it lists the sites drawing from. It varies from 5-8. No idea why.

You must have been local to it as CL scares me to death. I've already been scammed on CL with phony Recaro seats.

I found truck I wanted at a used dealer on Ebay in Houston and I flew down from NY and drove my 2008 F250 6.4 home.
