The tape is strong and flexible. Stretch it over the reflector, nice and tight. Fold it over the back, work air bubbles to the edge and out. Cut the tape in the curved edges to relieve binding and bubbles and the over lap. COVER ALL THE ORANGE, it'll will show orange when installed if not covered completely. Trim the edges for installation, the tabs, trim around the tabs. Install and enjoy. Looks glossy and looks like window tint during the day:
Pick out any air bubbles with a needle or razor blade. Vinyl must be the same way to apply. Looks sharp during the day and looks reflective silver at night, matches the paint. When light hits the tape at night, direct reflection is white. Pretty bright. It's a safety feature for me, sexy during the day...SAFE at night.
It's also very sticky, hard to remove. Should not fade or run. Prep the reflector, clean and all that. Maybe heat the tape a LITTLE. Apply slowly while stretching, work out them bubbles. Cut in the curves and fold everything on the back. Trim the tabs and pick out any bubbles. I bought a 2" x 15' roll, 2" is perfect.
