Installed my Mishimoto IC the other day and wow what a difference the stock ecu must of been pulling back and is now adjusting. I come from other turbo platforms and have never seen an intercooler make so much of a difference. Butt dyno can feel it big time. I highly recommend an intercooler upgrade.
Any modifications to shudders or anywhere else?
If I remember correctly, that is a stock replacement but is it a direct replacement without any modifications?
Also doesn't that one have a drain?
Yes the Shelby branded Whipple mounts in the stock location with all louver function intact. Got one for sale if someone wants $400 shipped.

Anyone tried the IC from AMS? https://www.amsperformance.com/cart/ams-f150-raptor-intercooler-kit.html/
per installation guide
NOTE: The fans on the Raptor model will not be reused.
not sure if this matters much
also looks like a lot of trimming is required for this IC
You also have to cut the ends off of the upper support plate, (trimming you mentioned?), remove the gray clip for the bypass recirculation tube and remove the white secondary lock from the inside of the connector to expose the terminal locks. Use a small pick or terminal tool and remove the terminals from the connector.
It's ironic how they state this:
"No trimming or modification"
Yet you have to cut and modify.
I have no problem modifying any thing if I choose to do so but it would **** me off to purchase something like this believing their up front statement but it's also naive not to dig a little deeper to get the real picture.
I just wish manufacturers would be honest upfront.
