What??? You beat yourself by four minutes?

They effed that press release - Carolan won overall and Class 2400, not 1200. Not related at all to anything Raptor or Foutz except for the ecoboost label on the engine.

Ford And The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Succeed At The Mint 400

Factory Stock Ford F-150 Raptor Is Best in the Desert

There was only one stock truck that finished this year’s Mint 400 race. That truck was the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. Foutz Motorsports drivers Greg Foutz and Tim Casey were the drivers of this Fords truck, and in being the only stock truck to finish the event, they won their class. Their Raptor was the only competitor in the factory stock production full-size class and is powered by Ford’s 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that is all new and improved for the 2017 model year. Backing up this new powerplant was Ford’s new 10-speed transmission.

To qualify in this class, a competitor’s truck must weigh between 6,001 and 9000 pounds and have a bed of at least four feet. This vehicle competed with production vehicle amenities such as power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning. This year’s win makes two in a row for the Ford F-150 Raptor line.

Ford Performance’s 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine was at the heart of the off-road vehicle that won the Class 1200 title. This speed demon was driven by Nick Carolan. Nick’s winning time that put him four minutes ahead of his nearest competitor gave him the overall title on top of his Class 1200 win. All in all, this was a pretty awesome performance by Ford Performance in the Nevada desert.

To qualify in the class the vehicle also has to be a production vehicle...guess they forgot about that part
