I traded in my '18 Platinum Tundra on my '18 Raptor. Admittedly, the Tundra was a disappointment as I had a nagging dash rattle, and for a $50k + truck, the interior materials and overall build quality were sub par compared to my Raptor. The TRD Pro (my buddy has one) is nothing more than a SR5 base model with shocks and a bed stamp. It doesn't even come with heated seats, nor is a sunroof an option. How in the world dealers were getting sticker price for the Pro's is still unbelievable to me. At least for the same price, you could get a Platinum albeit the "Platinum" badging was a little misleading as it unfortunately didn't feel like a premium truck. The 5.7 and 6 speed are tried and true, but the Tundra just felt old and aging. As mentioned, the only thing in my mind that comes close to the Raptor is the Ram Power Wagon. I had an '07 Power Wagon and well, it was in the shop more than in my driveway.
