Best cold air intake?

Just wondering what people think is the best cold air intake and if any noticeable gains?

I went with the AFE. Rediculous price but man does it look good under there and the sound is unreal especially with the turbosmart Nov. Puts a smile on me so that's all that Matters

I went with the Cobb stage 2 package on my Gen 2. I figured the packaged solution of FMIC, intake, and tune would give me the best results. I like the way the filter is physically attached to the enclosed housing with hardware. I also like how the enclosure/ housing over the filter maintains the stock look and keeps the sound to a reasonable level. You can make the intake sound louder, but it has little to no effect on performance.

One of the shortfalls of the K&N system on my Gen 1 was the filters ability to loosen up or fall off during spirited driving. I actually got to the point of having to check it several times a day during Raptor events where the truck would be bouncing around more than usual.

I went with the Agency Power intake, its the open box design, but seals against the hood when closed. I spent a lot of time looking at gains and they were all about the same, 10ish hp, youre not going to notice and gains honestly. Sound seems to be the biggest change ive noticed. I also reached out to several companies regarding their warranty and most of them replied with "our warranty covers on road use only" kinda weird considering our trucks are built for off road use. Agency Power however said we warranty our product for any use, unless you run it over with your truck and break it lol. So they were my choice. Hope that helps!

I have the AFE magnum force stage 2 with oiled filters. It’ll set you back about $750. The difference I see is about 2-4 mpg better than stock. Also if you remove the turbo silencers you get a lot more of the turbo whistle sound. Overall performance is noticeable ...definitely less lag when step on the gas and want instant power. Supposed to be a HP increase of 35-40...although I’ve never dynoed my truck to know. I have a 2019 Raptor truck.

It’s not mandatory but it would be wise to at least have the fuel trims checked to make sure it’s not running lean under boost. You’ll need either a wideband sensor/gauge or tuning software.
