Best audio set up for 2019 screw

Hey guys I’m not much for knowledge in car audio, so I’m wanting to do some upgrades to the B&O system, and I’m wondering what is the best set up to go with.
I want it to look as stock as possible, can’t have under seat subs as I usually have the rear seats up for cargo or dogs. I’m not looking for super loud just really clean, clear sound with really good bass. I’m looking for suggestions and vendors alike. I’m located in the salt lake area In Utah. Thanks in advance.

MTI / Mobile Toys makes a behind the seat sub enclosure for shallow mount subs; 10, 12 and 13 inch, single or double enclosure. I have a write up on installing the single 10” behind the seat enclosure in the audio section. This, with the JL 500w amp was a really solid addition.

Anything you do is going to require a signal processor @goblues38 has performed surgery similar to what you’re speaking of and can definitely help with recommendations.

Mine is a 17 so the path was slightly different but for this level of updating still calls for a signal processor to replace the amps.

I have Morel components up front with the tweeters mounted in the stock tweeter location, and pioneer a series 6.5’s in the rear. They do a more than adequate job of producing clean, crisp sound for what I spent. Speakers are a personal choice, and if you’re going to nit pick or split hairs on the sound, definitely go hear them for yourself first. The thing is - any - aftermarket speaker will sound better than stock.

A dsp is not necessary. A dsp is what will take your system from good to amazing. I highly recommend a dsp but if you are only into louder/wall of sound stuff with no staging or imaging then skip the dsp. If clarity and imaging is important to you, then a dsp allows you to achieve that.

Regardless, dsp or not, you need the NavTV zen a2b to replace the factory b&o amp. This is the first step. From there you connect the output signal from the zen to your amps.

In regard to the behind the seat enclosure, make sure you set your expectations properly. You want “clear sound and really good bass”. What does “really good bass” mean?
