Best Android Head Unit?

Looking to get rid of the prehistoric sync 2. Im sick of the fact it doesn't handle metadata correctly on mp3s and is just all around clunky. Not interested in sync 3 considering its price. Anybody have success with any particular model?

I just installed this head unit in a 2011 (Gen 1) that had just the basic radio with no screen and sync 1. The install took awhile to figure out the wiring but YouTube provided a pretty good guide (mostly https://www.youtube.com/user/fivestarcarstereoinc).

Retained steering wheel controls with PAC interface module but Sync and Sirrus Radio were lost which is not a huge loss considering Sync and Sirrus suck. So now can use Siri or Google instead of Sync. Sirrus is still available through app.

I am pretty happy with it however still trying to figure out how to customize and purchased a 360 camera from https://www.phoenixautomotiveinc.com/ that could not get to work yet.
