I have the original rollup from BAK, the Roll-X, I've had it 10+ years and it has been a good cover. It is at the end of it's life cycle and looks like hell now but I keep it on the Raptor as a theft deturant. Will replace with the Revolver X4S when Bidonomics is over.
can you go on top?

No, the company claims it will hold *** amount spread out but it is not made for that. It is a nice product and mostly water resistant (99%), strong enough to hold a suitcase or an object weighing 40 lbs or so. It is easy to roll up and can be removed with little effort. It does not block very much of the view out the back glass when rolled. 9 out of 10 stars rating imo.

On the last 6 trucks I've owned (5 F250 diesels and 1 F150), I've installed Retrax Pro/Pro MX - as I believe they are the best money can buy. That said, I'm thinking about a BackFlip MX4 this time to avoid having the "can" at the front of this fairly small truck bed. Anybody have experience with this product or have another you think is better? Thanks.
Lomax. Ive run them on all my Raptors. Never an issue

You guys are making me consider the Revolver X4S. Anyone had experience with both this and the lomax cover?
I’ve had the Bak MX4 on my Raptor, and decided to try the X4S on my TRX.

I personally think the MX4 is better looking (it’s a shiny finish opposed to the matte X4S) and seems more heavy duty then the X4S. I wanted to try something different, but should have stuck with what I knew I liked.

@White fog Would love to see more pics of that carbon lomax. Trying to decide between it and the MX4. Did the Lomax require any drilling or cutting?

I have the Weathertech which is a rebranded Lomax. It’s awesome, lightweight, easy to remove completely when you need and takes 30 min to install. No drilling or anything like that.

@BadWRP has the carbon one and it looks awesome. I’ve had mine for 4 years now on 3 different trucks but once it wears out eventually I’ll get the carbon.
