I know this thread is two years old that I am resurrecting but wondering if any of you guys that are using the bed tent have any updates good or bad.

My typical set up is a 10x10 dining fly/awning, and a 4 person Eureka tent (big enough for two plus two labs).

I would like to find something a little different. I would like to get off the ground. Not yet old enough to get a camper, still like the tent but too old to be laying on the ground anymore.
Wondering what you guys have to say about it.

I have this truck tent. It is brand new still in the box. I thought I would be using it and jumped the gun in purchase. I have bed cage etc. now and the tent has been sitting since I bought my truck. I"d like to sell it if your interested. Camp Right Truck Tents, Pickup Truck Tents, Camp Right Tent
I was looking at $100 and split the shipping. I did install it by myself one time and it wasn't to bad. Definitly much easier if you have 2 people. Once you do it a couple of times, I'm sure it would be a lot easier since you would know what goes where.

We have one of the Maggiolina Autohome tents on our Land Rover and it's an amazing piece of equipment! It would be a rock solid roof tent for the Raptor. They are pretty spendy but are super comfortable for 2 people (we've slept in this one 11 straight nights and I didn't have any back or shoulder discomfort at all)! it sets up and takes down in about 1 minute, and is completely waterproof and windproof...

I had thought about mounting it on the Raptor with one of the high truck bed frames, so it'd be up off the bed and still keep the bed completely free...Or you could mount it on a set of Thule bars/mounts over the cab...

Dane I like the one you posted. They also have a backwoods and camo model. Does it have to be the 5 5 sub model or will the 5 7 work?

I am partial to the teton sport cot tent. When I get real lazy and on non-windy days I just put the cot pad on my Bakflip and lash the tent to it

That is really nice. Do you have any better pics on how it mounts? I'm throwing a "Decked" system in my bed and I wonder if this would be compatible.

I am very happy with my Tepui tent so far!
