Probably shouldn't clog up this thread with AK run talk, but I do have some great places we could go. There are a couple of roads that are pretty unimproved and only open in the summer. Anywhere between 15 and 100 miles long and with some cool stuff at the end.

Got one of these and will ratchet it down tight with a couple straps, should be good to go.

I have a Pelican 1740 case in my truck. It was the longest one I could find that fit in the front of the bed. It is heavy, but it is indestructible and has wheels on one end that make it easy to move around. I am planning on making sort of a rack on top of it to attach an axe/fire extinguisher or other items. Just haven't gotten up the courage to drill holes in my $300 case...
