I am thinking about installing a bed rail tie down system, but it uses the stake pockets. Our trucks have the pockets but there is no access with the bed rail covers. Does anyone know if a regular F-150 5.5 foot bed rail cover with stake pocket openings will fit on the bed rail of the Raptor? Thanks.

Truxedo makes a soft tonneau with adjustable ties downs in the rails. The Truxedo Tonneu-trax. Each tie down point can handle 250 lbs of pressure. Probably not for heavy duty usage but it's an option. I have this cover on my Raptor and it's pretty nice, esp. for a soft cover.

Thanks for the input. I really like the Toyota style, but I read in another post that the flange in the Toyota is reinforced where the rail attaches. Do you think that the flange on the Raptor is strong enough?

I am still curious about the poster's original question...will the regular F-150 bed rail covers fit on the Raptor? I would like to install the Bull Ring retractable anchor, but would like it to be a clean install. I suppose you could cut the holes in the plastic bed rail but I'd prefer it to be as OEM as possible. So if the regular F-150 bed rail covers will fit, I'll just order those.

Why would Ford make the stake pockets, then make them unaccessible with the bed rail covers?
