Bed extender with Bed Rug question

Mine are still on there and I never lock my bed extender...

Thanks guys,

I was being summoned to dinner by the wife last night while finishing the pop a lock and tail gate portion of the bed rug. I made the wise decision to quit before I had to go sleep on the boat for the night.

I removed the rubber bumpers this morning and it works fine. Now if the winch bumper would just jump up and install itself I could see myself rarely using the Rubicon again. The Jeep has it uses and while I will never be without a Jeep it just doesn't compare to the Raptor. I wish I didn't feel the need to mod every vehicle I own but it sure is fun to do.

Glad to hear everyone else removed the bumpers as well. I had to remove them inorder for it to sit correctly.

How did you guys handle the latch pin that goes into the tailgate when it's in the extended position? The hole it's supposed to go in does not have a grommet. I'm afraid to make a hole in the bedrug for it...seems like it would be subject to tearing and just wouldn't look finished.
