If you have both bed rug and bed extender did you remove the rubber bumpers from top and bottom of the extenders to get it to sit flush again? With the stops in place it sits at an angle keeping the locking pin from sliding in. In the morning I will remove them and see if it gives the needed clearance, I just ran out of time before I could finish and check tonight.

I had the same issue with the bed extender when I had my bed line-x'ed.
I just removed the bumpers & ground them down enough to allow the clearance.

Even with the BedTred, I had to remove mine. Well, just the ones that it sits on when the Bed Extender is inside the bed...

Just twist and pull... it should pop right off.

Yep I sure did. Haven't suffered any adverse effects from it in 40k miles.

Just passed this on to my dealer installing bedtred (and F1 backflip) for me before I take delivery. Thanks guys. Just to confirm:

-Bedtred install before F1 Backflip
-Not installing 5th tailgate bedtred piece b/c (a) plastic factory tailgate insert works/looks fine and is I think needed for the tailgate step assembly
-Make sure an get the Zipper design
-Remove rubber plugs after bedtred/rug install so the extender mounts flush again.

This, I hope along with install instructions....will be all the bed accessory updates I need to pass onto my dealer. If more, please pass on.

If there's any F1 backflip pre-install wisdom anyone has to pass on, that would also help.

Not sure what this means.

I installed the Bedrug piece on the tailgate too (with the zipper connection to the rest of the Bedrug) and my truck has the Man-step and Stripper Pole. :)
