So I see a lot on people wanting to add the bed and hood decals so I figure I'd put this up. on the web there's a sight called BMC extreme customs they have the factory decals for the bed and hood for all models from 10-12 and I think there coming out with 13 pretty soon. The bed decals run around $300 and they sell the tac applicator spray. I will say if you have any amount of common sense you can put the decal on by yourself with the spray I did it and it was super easy. It's about $20 from the site the good decals run about the same price. You can also custom colors and types it's a very good site check it out

I bought a precut hood decal from this site. I must have no common sense because I f...ed it up. It is 3m 1080 but it is not easy to do by yourself. I honestly think you would be better off with knifeless tape and a 10 x 5 piece. More room for error.

That's as far as the hood goes I couldn't tell you about the bed graphics and it isn't a carbon copy of Ford's decal.

Did you get the tac applicator spray? It's like a alcohol based soap spray you spray on your truck and on the back of the decal. It allows you to slide n move the decal around however you want before the adhesive sticks. That's what I was saying about the common sense no offense intended.
Here is the link for the graphics http://www.bmcextremecustoms.net/f150graphics.htm
At the order page of your graphics you'll see options such as a squeegee, color, and the tac applicator spray, I highly recommend you get the spray it makes things 1000 times easier

X2 on the 3m with the knife less tape, that is what I did and it worked out pretty good, beauty is, if you fup just pull it off and start over. $100 buys almost 50 ft of the 3m 1080 Matte black

No offense taken . Its all good.

I was told not to use that spray by a local graphics guy. He said its some type of soap based product. He claimed it could hurt your paint underneath over time. Whatever, I don"t know. Maybe he just wanted my business after I screwed it up. Which I did. I guess I got :pokeowned:

It just seems to me if you are going to do it yourself go the knifeless tape route. At least for the hood portion.

Yea see I wouldn't know on that method. I haven't tried that. Guess it just depends on your preferred way of installation. I've heard awesome about the tac spray and it worked well for me. But I'm sure theres a hundred ways to install a decal.
