Hello,
I've recently decided to install Yakima landing pads, Skyline mounts, and Jetstream 70" cross bars to span the truck bed. I intend to use the cross bars to either mount my Thule Skybox or a cargo basket to have just a bit more capacity for road trips, camping, etc... I have found a few threads here and a few pics online, but am trying to get an idea of a few cargo basket options that I an mount to the Yakima cross bar system. I'd prefer something that doesn't consume the entire width of the bed, but perhaps half, so that I could leave room for bike racks or whatever. Trying to find some real world examples, so I can make the right purchase. Thanks in advance!
Forgot to mention that I have a Roush Extang tonneau cover installed, but I've seen that Stage 3 sells a similar Yakima kit, so I know it's possible to mount on the factory bed rails and the tonneau should leave enough space to install the Yakima landing pads.
