If you don’t carry regular cargo in the bed you could probably drop a couple more from the rear, since most of the weight is up front. Don’t go nuts, start with maybe 1 pound and work from there.

I haven’t had any issues at 38 x 4 cold - 38 from the TPMS, I haven’t used my trusted gauge yet. I also haven’t pushed her hard enough to break the rear loose running around in 4a.

They are almost always high from the dealer, and especially after they service the vehicle.

The door pressure is normally still too high, unless loaded down, as mentioned above. Air the tires down until you have a solid contact patch with the tread evenly on the ground across the full width of the tire, and you are good to go. The front tire pressure will be substantially higher than the rear due to the weight distribution of a pickup. For instance, with the K02's on my 250 I run 50psi in the front and 30psi in the rear. I haven't taken the time to check the raptor and adjust yet, but I will be doing that tomorrow.

Tires can be used on many different vehicles and the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure is for the tire in a generic-sense and will work for everyone. Automobile manufacturers sometimes adjust tire pressures to optimize ride for a specific vehicle. The best pressure to run is the one on the door, but both will work.

What it came with from the dealer doesn't really matter sometimes they check it and sometimes they don't.

Yea, that's unfortunate that you need to check all this stuff out for such a pricey rig... something so simple you would think it would be done right.... makes ya wonder about torque specs on the rest....
