And this forum bashes the tuner crowd for focusing on bling? ;). Sounds cool... Wish I had that much free time.

LOL I spent very little time on this. Thought about whether to upgrade the wheels or modify these to my liking. Then unbolted the rings and dropped them off at the powder coater. Maybe it seems blingy but I just don't like the monochrome look of black tires and black wheels. I like a little contrast like the gen one beadlocks had. But just one guys opinion. Ironically I have been spending a lot more time researching tuning and things like forscan to tweak the functions of the truck.

I wasn't being sarcastic when I said it sounds cool. I think it's a good idea and will be nice. Def post some pics! I like the older beadlocks better too. I just think it's funny how this forum rips the bling guys...when 95% of the raptor owners who trick theirs out with bumpers winches etc just take them to the grocery store.

lot's of guys have done the powder coat, very nice mod. I actually went the other way and had my silver ones powder coated black. I personally like the monochromatic black look, but love the fact that you're personalizing the truck to your tastes. definitely not blingy

So I'm assuming these rings are aluminum right? I'm either going to have mine anodized the same color blue as the shocks OR order the Method Con6 in bronze.... Avalanche Gray truck. The stock rims are too bland for my liking.

Yep, thats the other advantage, just slightly different than the rest.

I almost went Avalanche gray matching, but decided on the silver instead. Let us know what you decide!
