You could as the beauty ring doesn't affect how the tire mounts but there is a good size gap with the true rings if you just put them on, it looks pretty stupid.

If your truck came stock with the beadlock wheels, yes the spare will also be a beadlock. $180 each with free shipping is actually a good price, I saw them at one time for $155 but can't find them for that anymore. I found a used set on bookface for $350 and snagged it.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking with the beadlock rims and the gap. Hypothetical of course (since it would be illegal ) would you run them daily or just for Offroad run? Also a pic would awesome all the pics I see are press photos. Thanks

Don't have them installed. I was going to get them powdercoated black first and just haven't had time to mess with it. I've heard of quite a few folks who run them daily with no issues. The whole concept isn't practically unless you trailer your Raptor. Who is going to carry 4 tires to swap them out (where are you going to put them unless its an event where you end up back where you started and people there to watch them) and then swap them again to hit the road. Yeah illegal but what cop is really going to know the difference. Guys run BFG Projects and those aren't DOT either. Just keep an eye on the torque for the bolts and you will be fine. (Disclaimer: I take no liability in that statement, lol) When I run them, it will be daily.

Real beadlocks are not illegal. DOT does not have a standard for 2 piece wheels such as beadlocks so most tire shops won’t work on them. I don’t think any states actually list them as illegal.

So since there is no standard and most tire shops won’t work on them, Ford can only recommend they be used for Off Road use.

I personally love the look of the beadlocks and for me, they are worth the extra work to have that extra level of security off road.

Here’s a couple of pics on the beadlocks on my truck.

Side by side comparison. I put the ring on my spare. Both tires are the stock BFGs. Only difference is the beauty ring tire has 20,000 miles on it and the spare is still new.

Thanks guys that's what I wanted to know. The real beadlock look sweet. I'm definitely going that route. My buddy owns a auto garage so mounting them won't be a problem. You guys rock, great community here.
