Just got back from my dealer, and apparently my truck is getting built on Wednesday, beadlocks and all.

If I'm reading the sticker right, the VIN was issued this past Wednesday, which is two weeks to the day after my dealer called to tell me that I'd have to delete them to get scheduled.

Delivery window between 3/16 and 3/22.

I actually went over there to talk to them about swapping out to an '18 because of the delays. Then we got talking about colors and when they'd have some in of different colors for me to see in person. He clicks on the first one they've got coming in and goes, 'Hey, isn't that your order number?'

Great news Autophanatic -glad you finally got scheduled. I assume you got a vin at the same time and confirmed with Ford Service on FB the status change? That's gotta be a good feeling.

Hang in there guys- I ordered in Aug and took delivery on Tuesday night of my new truck with BL and CF! It's pretty awesome to finally have it. I'll post some initial impressions and likes/dislikes when I get back to it in a few weeks...have to suffer thru a trip to mexico first :)

Quickly though, overall the truck is awesome...it's better than expected as many have said, and the pics dont do it justice. The magnetic paint was the biggest happy surprise...the pics on the net don't show just how much metal flake there is in that paint..it's extremely metallic and has a lot more sparkle and pop than I was expecting. One thing that's annoying is that they put the window switches on the drivers door wayyy too far forward..i have to actually lean forward off the driver's seat to reach them...first vehicle I have ever had that had such awkward placement. I can't believe how quiet the truck is either..amazingly quiet interior and smooth ride. Did all the forscan changes, that was easy too. Hang in there guys!

Thanks, yes it is a good feeling ! Yes, have a VIN, and no, Ford Service Facebook still says "order processing unscheduled clean". I don't even bother with them anymore. Not intentionally being negative, but I personally think they are the most uninformed information arm one could consult. So yes, I'm now trying to encourage others as well, spreading the word that your trucks eventually will become a reality.

Awesome that you got yours; hope you continue to enjoy it! Have fun in the sun and sand in Mexico!

Hopefully Ford Service catches up..they had info for me before my dealer. Funny how inconsistent just about every aspect of this raptor ordering process is.

That is a very good summation, "inconsistent", which has always driven me crazy. I'm glad Ford Service was beneficial to you, and others, I just had it with their inaccuracies and ever increasingly delayed response times.

You can also call, might yield a faster response. You can give them your vin and ask them to verify if they still show you unscheduled clean.

Thank you. I still need to call Ford Performance to confirm the dealer's updated status, which I do trust. Facebook though...I've written them off. Facebook, in general, has brought me nothing but grief. I guess I'm just too private of a person. Also, definitely take issue with Mr. Zuckerberg calling his users "dumb f*cks".

Called my dealer today, They said they would email their zone rep to see if there's been any more info on the Beadlocks... As the nice weather starts comming it has me wondering if I just want to order a BMW M3 at this point lol

I got a text from my dealer yesterday. My 12/06/16 order of a forged-wheel equipped 802A magnetic Scew has been scheduled with a built date of 3/22/17 and an estimated delivery date of 4/10/17.

This is the 4th Raptor I've ordered from this same dealer. He has been extremely accurate with info on all four orders. In December, he told me about the beadlock wheel shortage and advised me that the truck wouldn't be built before March or April. Waiting isn't as bad when the GM feeds me accurate info along the way.

Haha that's funny because when I ordered my Raptor, in July, I was planning on it for a winter vehicle. North Idaho had a hard winter this season too....so was really counting on the truck. Instead, with this disaster unfolding, I've had to plug the spot in the stable with, first, a '16 Wrangler Rubicon, and in January, a '17 Ram Rebel. Weather is still cold and snowy, but I can see your point--by the time I actually see my Raptor, I will be a hell of a lot more interested in dusting off the Stingray and running around. Bad timing eh?

I was planning on doing the Raptor ands pairing it with a Ducati Panagale R as the go fast, has fun toy... Last time I ordered a car it was a BMW M5 back in 2013/14. I canceled the order just before delivery because I wouldn't be able to do the 600 HP RWD in the North east winters... It just wasn't going to work as a daily driver and I lost a parking spot for a beater/ winter car in my building. But the M5 only took 3 months to come in, including shipping across the Atlantic for a week and a half - two weeks. The next M5 is going to be 80/20 split with AWD, but that won't be out for another year or so... IDK what to do at this point. My lease is up in about a month on my current car so something has to get figured out.
