Wasn't meaning backing out of a raptor completely, just meant backing out for 2021, and maybe looking into a R or 2022 once everything starts to get back to a normal lifestyle. My apologies for not wording it correctly.
At this rate 2022 isnt going to be normal for production either.

Word on the street is that people are yelling and being rude to the FP guys when they are getting the bad news that their build dates are pushed.

Come on, people. The FP team is just the messengers, they don't schedule or build your damn trucks. These folks are pleasant and patient as you all call in daily for updates on the same Raptor. Cut them some slack and be a little classy.
That’s ridiculous (but not surprising). I’ve called twice since I ordered my truck and they’ve been great. Found out that my Aug 9 build week is now Sep 27th. I’m pretty sure the guys answering the phone aren’t personally setting production dates nor physically building my truck. Say thank you and go about your life. This is why I like dogs.

They were great when I asked weekly for an update on my 2018 build...why people feel the need to beat on people reading what a computer is telling them is beyond me.

Because they are the only (or closest) outlet available to release the frustration against. It's not logical, it's emotional.

Personally, I don't know why FP even gives out dates anymore. Giving out a date that gets pushed back is worse than giving no date at all.

I just got off the chat with FP and they have always great to assist....my build day was scheduled for Aug 1st and now has been pushed back to the week of Sept 20th....it is what it is. Nothing to be ticked about. Its scheduled and will be produced. Hopefully it will arrive before the snow flys.

People acting out on emotions instead of logic and poorly treating people that had nothing to do with it, imagine that...

Between these forums and the FB groups its probably close to a hundred, if not more. Cause once the word spreads it spreads everywhere and as you saw in the other post we were ALL calling yesterday for an update to this big push out
