BD's OnX6+ Lower Grille LED Kit Question

So to those of you who have OnX6 as well as BD squadron sports, is it worth it? I already have three pairs of Squadron sports (spot, driving combo, & wide cornering) in the fog light pockets. I can't use those on street due to light output already, so is there something beyond 'more is better' driving your decision? My biggest *gripe* is that the spots - which are mounted too low by choice - don't really throw down range. But I can't mount lights up top (won't fit garage).

Only worth it of off road at night or very isolated roads with no natural light.

Thank you. Since getting the BD Squadrons, I've realized (1) I made the right choice of light, (2) they do a phenomenal job in near-to-mid range, and (3) if I really want to improve long-distance down range (thinking: high beam plus plus) lighting, I'm going to have to mount them high up (like on top of the cab). With less than an inch of roof clearance in my garage as is, that would seem to leave me with the curved light bar over the windshield...not quite the look I'm going for. I'm going to have to look into whether anyone has mounted a S8 (or other 30-40 inch light bar) near the top of the grill and whether that is high enough to go far down range (without interfering the grill shudders, etc.).

I also fit the cut out... used a vibrating saw to cut and a dremel to grind smooth. It was worth it to me because i like the look. BUT i also did the the flush mount as several others have done and it looks great.... flush with outside of grill so you can’t see cuts. Additionally, i used security hardware to dissuade anyone from a quick grab.

I don't know: do you have enough light? I mean, the OnX6 is only 11,000 plus lumens; the Squadron Sports (assuming they are ONLY Sports) are approximately 6300 lumen/pair (12,600 lumen), and the S2 Sports are only 2300 lumen/pair (4800 lumen/pair if they're pros). Since the OEM lights (only) put out 2200-2400 lumen (low beam), you will find yourself thinking your headlights are actually weak!

I have Squadron Racers and Pro's in fogs so likely different than sports....but its worth it IMO.
Only regret is I didn't go with laser ONX6 instead...haha! A few specifics on mine...

Once I get my Honeybadger rear bumper, I'll be up to 55,500 lumens spread over 5 up fitter switches.
