Installed my throttle body this week. Drove the car several times and no error lights so far. The only thing I'm curious is putting the stock next to the bored one doesn't look like any major difference in size increase to make noticeable gains.

The smallest part is on the rear which is 70mm stock and it increases to 70.4mm. So even though they take material off some sides I would assume bottle neck is the issue.

Interesting. The taper could increase velocity but to be noticeable? I’m not sure.

3k miles no check engine lights, no hiccups and no odd behaviors encountered. I do know there probably is some sort of additional airflow bec when throttle was first installed it needed to adapt with the ecu for the first min then was fine.

Placebo effect maybe but it feels slightly more responsive. It could also be due to the old throttle body being dirty inside. For the price I don't think you can go wrong if even just for having a better feel.

Good to hear! It’s probably one of those mods that’s a piece of a bigger puzzle like when going bigger turbos, inlets, etc
