GEN 2 Base price up $560 in June + toolbox

Just noticed base price went up by $560 on sticker prices in June. Also seen -new to me- an option of an “Aluminum Storage toolbox” for $790. Anyone seen this toolbox or have pick?

My dealer had 3 with the aluminum tool box. Looks like shit. The sales guy said not a single customer even wanted to test drive one with that monstrosity sitting in it.

That is really "bad" looking and I do not mean in a good way! I can't read the details on the window sticker, but if that is a Ford option, dealers are going to be stuck with them sitting on lots.

I would have passed on my truck if that thing was an option because I could not even give it away...

Agreed. Looks like shit and yes it’s a $790 option from factory. Maybe this sticker more legible. Sorry.

Probably wouldn't be so bad if it came color matched to the truck.

Even color matched it just doesn't fit the truck. Plus it's just a weather guard tool box. Bad part is even if you took it out to sell it, the thing is bolted through the bed caps. The dealership I bought mine from said it's all they have in stock and can't move them. I bet someone gets fired over ruining 3 trucks. That picture does not do the ugliness of it justice do to the angle. You really have to see this crap in person
