My 2012 was white. It actually hid scratches pretty well. Not so much with broken side views. But those side views do pretty well when retracted. I live in MT and there is a road on the ranch we hunt referred to as the “Montana car wash” because it cleans the paint right off of your truck. Just remember little jeeps and tacos can sneak through rabbit trails better then the Raptor. A few battle scars makes the truck legit. When I traded in the dealer said, oh nice you actually used it. Remember it’s like prison sex the first turn is the hardest.

Yeah. We were in Ocala. Pretty cool place just went down one skinny trail that screwed us up. Hitting the bumps by the power lines was incredible. My kids were in the backseat hysterically laughing and smiling the entire time.

Cost of Detailer and scratch removal: few hundred bucks.

I’d personally skip the B -pillar “replacement” and just buy wraps. Can get them pretty reasonably AND, the B pillars just scratch anyway. I’ve only got 2k miles on my 19, babied, hand washed and the OEM B pillars show scratches so I’m gonna get good quality sticker, maybe carbon fiber or something in matte to cover em.

One of the reasons I'm trying white this time, not that I even offroad 20% of the time as many of you..but one *@#$!$%*ing tree/bush in a day was all it took to require a bunch of work to the 2011 Tux Black.

Would like to get out there sometime. Can you give me a clue of what trail that was to avoid? I’d like to work the truck in more wide open spaces first, but that’s limited here.

Looks like you may actually get fixed up pretty easily, all things considered. Hopefully you captured some video!

You should wrap it and the wrap will take most if not all the scratches.

This why I bought a white Raptor. I’ve taken it down some pretty narrow Jeep trails in the mountains, plenty pinstriping, but after a good wash they’re really only noticeable on the B pillars and fender flares. I do plan on getting the B pillars wrapped.
