Has anyone installed an F1 with a Ford drop-in bedliner in place. Did you have to cut the rails at all or have any other problems?

I actually have done this and the problem that I personally ran into was with the tailgate. The tailgate piece of the bedliner was either wrong, or was for a different model year.

The lip in the back that would normally be "over the rail", was more or less shoved in place and it made a <| type shape because the height of the tailgate of the 2009+ vs. the earlier models.

I had to cut the bedliner because with the surface not being flat, it made the bed that much shorter. I would not recommend cutting the rails.

Fords drop-in bedliner is an under rail assy. So it won't effect F1 install.

But I would stay away from a drop-in hard plastic bedliner.

Too late, already have the bed liner installed. For what I do it should work ok. My problem was the rails were a tad too long. Bak said I could cut them a little and not void the warranty but it turned out I didn't have to. I put 1 clamp on and then TAPPED the end of the rails with a plastic hammer. Voila, they finally fit.
Now I just have to locate the rubber plugs behind the bedliner to run the drain hoses.
Thanks for the replies. Tomorrow it's vent visors.

On another note, don't you just love it when you see a whole drop-in liner lying beside the highway? My F1 will protect my cheapy liner.
