Question for those of you that have the BAKflip. When the thing is flipped up against the rear window can you still put a bike in the back and have it contact the front of the bed? Have any of you transported a bike in the back with the thing open? Any input would be great.

Thanks!

i plan on hauling my bike and ordered the F1. I can always put a block in front as long as the rear tire is still in the bed then it should be all good. Does the cover lock securely when it is folded up against the window?

Cool deal, thanks stoner!

Smoke, a bike won't fit with the tailgate up unless it's sideways. My old screw was the same bed length and I just left it down and used the bed extender to to keep gear bags and such from sliding out. As for the BAK not sure if it locks in that position.

that was the same in my 06 screw but i could put the front tire all the way to the cab and the rear tire was just enough in the bed that I could strap it down with no worries. If I have to brace the front up against a block or something then the rear tire might hang on the tailgate seam or on the tailgate, which makes me nervous.
