Bak Industries website is bakindustries.com and it shows that the warranty for a Roll-X is 1 year. No offense to Morrie, but the name "bakfactoryoutlet" is a bit misleading. They are not owned or operated by Bak Industries.

As to the misleading ownership, I carry Bak Tonneau covers exclusively on my websites. www.bakfactoryoutlet.com and our new one Roll-X Covers. There are 2 other sites using the factory direct marketing approach...www .bakflipoutlet. com which is owned by truckaddons .com who also have several other marketing names like extangfactoryoutlet...etc. The other "factory" site is bakfactorydirec t.co m. This site is owned and operated by TruckExcel .com who also operates tonneaucoversworld.com and several other tonneau cover sites. Both of these other companies sell and provide customer service for every other tonneau cover brands. I only have one tonneau cover brand to worry about, and I visit the factory every week to pick up orders for my customers. I drop off the orders picked up on my way home to San Diego. I am able to focus on having more depth of information and more current information as well. i will let the members of this Forum judge whether we also deliver fanatical customer service. They can also decide whether or not I have earned the right to use the name www.BakFactoryOutlet.com . OK. Fair enough. But I did get the sense that you were calling out Morrie for misleading people with the name of his business. I would think if anyone had a problem with it, it would be Bak Industries.

You mean the same website that lists a 14mm wrench needed for installation when it's actually a 15mm? Thankfully Morrie takes the time and energy to update us with accurate information.

As mentioned, I said "no offense to Morrie". The purpose was to indicate that Morrie and bakfactoryoutlet is not actually Bak Industries and they do not represent the manufacturer.

Like I said Big Block...I don't think anyone on this Forum or any other Forum feels misled by my relationship with the factory because we do deliver fanatical customer service on all products we sell. Sometimes, as in the case with the Roll-X warranty, we even have more accurate information about Bak's products. Evidently there was a mistake made by whoever wrote the copy for Bak that has been repeated on other websites not as in touch with the facts. I have two disclaimers on my home page that we are not owned or operated by the factory. If you looked at the obvious instead of focusing on the fine print, then maybe you would have seen it. Why don't you step out from behind you anonymity and tell us what your beef is with me. I have invited you to call me directly, but you seem to want to try and stir it up on this Forum. Do you work for one of my competitors, or are you just jealous of the solid reputation we have on FRF?
