The Scientists of Lighting have figured out how to drive our LEDs harder, safer and more efficiently. Almost half of our LED products are now BRIGHTER, BOLDER, BETTER.

Increase%20Graphicv3email2.jpg

XL Sport and Squadron Sport LED auxiliary lighting
up to 30% BRIGHTER
- Increase lumens from 2,260 lumens ⇒ 3,150 lumens
- Increase watts from 20 watts ⇒ 26 watts
- Increase amps from 1.4 amps ⇒ 2.0 amps

S8-series LED light bars (per 10” section)
up to 40% BRIGHTER
- Increase lumens from 4,520 lumens ⇒ 6,350 lumens
- Increase watts from 45 watts ⇒ 60 watts
- Increase amps from 3.2 amps ⇒ 4.0 amps

OnX6+ LED light bars (per 10” section) up to
69% BRIGHTER + includes new Battery Management Technology
- Increase lumens from 7,350 lumens ⇒ 12,450 lumens
- Increase watts from 58.5 watts ⇒ 108 watts
- Increase amps from 4.2 amps ⇒ 8.4 amps

HI-POWER IS OUT, PLUS IS IN!

We are dropping the Hi-Power line, but offering the brighter and more affordable OnX6+ light bars with a starting MSRP of $429.95. Not only is the OnX6+ line brighter, but we are integrating brand new technology at the same time. Baja Designs’ new Battery Management Technology (BMT) is a game-changing feature designed to keep your lights running at your vehicles maximum potential. This additional protection allows us to drive our LEDs and circuit boards harder, without risk of failure or damage. When your vehicle’s voltage drops below 13.5v, your light will begin to gradually dim until voltage is stabilized. BMT eliminates flickering under low voltage and protects your vehicles wiring and electrical system from dangerous current spikes.

We updated our site a few days ago with all the new specs. I need to figure out if I can support new 50" OnX6+ bars on my roof. I have dual 50" OnX6 now but need to check what gauge wire I used. That new battery technology is needed for my demo truck. Running 1 battery and ALL those Baja lights puts a strain on my battery so I get flickering if the roof lights are on with everything else.

Looks as if your website has not made updates to the new output on the Squadron Sport models unless you dig. This is copied from the site.

Squadron Sport LED Light - Black
The Squadron® Sport LED light is hands down the best $119.95 LED on the market today. Although similar in aesthetics to the Squadron® Pro, the application for the Sport varies. The Squadron® Sport utilizes 4 Cree LEDs producing an impressive 2,260 lumens at 20 watts making it ideal for near field, side/backup and scene lighting application. An industry first 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee & Limited Lifetime Warranty is included for the ultimate in purchase protection.

PLEASE NOTE: Our entire Sport Series now comes with black bezels instead of silver. Please bear with us as we update our materials with new photos. The Sports will now appear the same as the Pro Series, but with a matte black housing instead of gloss.

Appreciate the heads up - I'll let our marketing team know. Looks like we missed a spot :)

Glad I could help. Order is in for all my lights and I’m now just waiting for them to show up. Like a kid at Christmas. I have a crazy thought for you guys at BD...

What about making a tinted rock guards to make the Squadron pro lights and onX6 (all of which I have coming) more “street friendly”? This way, all of us that bought all this overkill awesomeness can still get some street use that can easily be removed when you get off the paved road?

That is an interesting idea. A BD employee put a smoked lens on his OnX6 and it still put out too much light for street use. The rock guard would need a built-in glare guard to prevent spill light from shining up towards oncoming drivers.

Precisely. Like the ridges on the driving combo lights maybe that push the light towards the ground. And reduce the up. A 2nd plus for the raptor application would be with a slight tint you wouldn’t even see it in the lower grille where the kit installs it. I was thinking about buying the clear one and having it tinted slightly for that very reason. Stealth until turned on would be cool. Send me a prototype to evaluate and assist with R&D.
