Both our Squadron Series or XL Series LED Auxiliary Lights are popular in that location. The Squadron is a 3"x3" light where the XL is 4.5"x4.5".

quick question, picked up a 40" on6x amber/led light bar. There is a wiring harness on both the left and right side of the bar. Does each side connect to a separate bulk wire for the aux switch? I didn't get any other wiring with the light so I am assuming I would cut off the weather proof clips and splice additional wiring to reach the aux bulk wiring near firewall?

I've always got an instruction sheet with wiring diagram with all my BD lights. As far as wiring, buy the BD Ford upfitter harness for 14 bucks or use the weatherpack connector they sent you instead of chopping up the harness.

Sounds like you have a dual control bar... I would not cut and splice. Instead I'd get in touch with bd and get 2x upfitter connection harness. It's a 5ft wire with connectors on one end for the light and appropriate wires on the other to hook to switch wires... hope this helps.

The dual control bar will turn on the two outside sections and the other the two inside ones, hence why there is two wires on each side. It will also come with two female ends that you can use on your own wiring to two separate AUX switches or relays or purchase the premade BD wiring harness from a FRF vendor. The wires will come with a green wire that you can run to a momentary switch to make it flash.

The authorized vendor who you purchased it from should be able to assist you on everything you need, assuming you got it from a supporting FRF vendor here....
