Thanks for posting up! I should have some more teaser shots up today or tomorrow morning. Our engineers are working hard trying to get these kits to be the perfect blend of looks and performance.

- I definitely know what you mean about the open style pocket. With this option you can have anywhere from 1-3 Pairs of lights. Having 1 would maintain some of the open look.

- The nice thing about having different kits is it gives you a variety of different options for lights based on your needs. For example, you can have one pair of Squadron Sports in Wide Cornering as Fog Lights. When aimed correctly they are our most "Street Friendly" Lights. We will be offering an S2 Sport soon so that might be a great option for you!

- Mounting the light behind the grille will reduce the output slightly. A big plus of having the lights tucked away is the theft deterrent. They aren't so noticeable back there and it will take some time to try to break them out.

- Using our OnX6 Series Light Bars you can have a High/Lo functionality. The OnX6, OnX6 Racer, and OnX6 Hi-Power have a built in dimming feature. While they don't dim enough for street use, it is very nice for poor weather conditions or situations with lots of glare

Its hard to tell from the pic. Is this a bezel kit or just brackets to mount the lights?
Thanks

Will your mounting kit be able to put a OnX6 series 30' light bar instead of an S8 behind the grill?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The 30" OnX6 will NOT fit behind the grille. This is due to the 17 Raptor grille design and the louvers that move when driving.

What kit are you referring to specifically?

These will all be mount kits allowing you to either bolt lights into the Fog, behind the upper grille, or behind the lower grille. It will not have any bezels or fascias included. These will bolt to OEM mounting locations.

Teaser Shot! Ford Raptor - Gen 2 - S8 30" LED Light Bar, BTG

Lighting Shown:
S8, 30" LED Light Bar, Driving/Combo

Mount Kit / Light Package:
COMING SOON

32270249471_5b9af5b8d5_k.jpg

We have received quite a few PM's, Phone Calls, and Emails with questions about this kit working with the OnX6. Unfortunately it will NOT.
This is due to the depth of the OnX6 housing coming into contact with the louvers behind the grille. The S8 features a shallower housing and won't interfere with the OEM electric louvers.

Stay tuned for more info on our 17 Raptor Kits! We are starting Pre-Orders now ([email protected]) and hope to have pricing and an ETA by the end of this week (1/27/17).
Take a look at our other Baja Designs (BD) products!

Can the amber DRL be turned off or is it always on if the OEM DRLs are on?

It depends how you wire it. You can tap it into your amber running lights to turn on with them. Or you can wire them to an upfitter and turn them on with a switch. Or you could tap them into a ignition on positive wire so they're on any time the truck is on. Or you can choose not to connect them at all. It's totally up to you.

UPDATE:

1/30/17

Gen 2 - Raptor Specific Kits

Our engineers are working hard to verify the first articles are good to go for production. Unfortunately we are waiting for another kit to arrive before testing.
This pushes back our ETA and pricing by at least a week. Sorry about any inconvenience.
I will update everyone when more information comes my way.
