If so how do you like them and how is the light output… I am a little bit concerned that the mesh of the grill will block out some of the light This is the kit that goes behind where the license plate would be Also do these work well as chase/dust lights?

They are great. It's a nice light that gives you a lot of great output. It's not going to be the brightest (if you have a full triple fog kit or a 30" bar or something) but man is it really nice.

We've actually got this kit starting at $459.99 for the 10" OnX6+ Kit

http://www.4x4truckleds.com/kr-off-road-lower-grill-light-bar-kit-for-2017-2020-ford-f-150-raptor

This includes the KR Off-Road mounting brackets, made right here on Long Island (they support other light bars along with Baja Designs).

I'd recommend the Driving/Combo bar.

Now this is NOT a chase light, as it's obviously in front of your truck. For a chase light i'd recommend one of these two options (or both)

S2 Reverse Kit
With our optional upfiter harness AND a set of amber covers. The kit operates normally as a reverse kit but you can also control it from an upfitter. Throw the amber covers on when you're on the trails and BOOM, instant chase lights

S2 Reverse Kit: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-s2-reverse-light-kit/
S2 Covers: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-s2-rock-guard-amber/

Now you're in luck. For Memorial Day we're selling an S2 Reverse kit for $225. You just need that kit AND the covers and you're set: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-2020-ford-raptor-reverse-kit-w-baja-designs-s2-lights/

GJ Motorsports Brake Light
This thing's a beast. It houses 3 S2 lights and acts as a cargo light as well.

BTW. If you need to keep your front license plate on, no problem. Use this relocation kit:

Thanks. So chase lights only refer to the rear? I was thinking so the guy ahead of me can see me coming, in his mirror?

Correct. Chase lights are used so the guy coming up on you from behind, can see you. The guy in front of you has no interest who's behind him :) But the guy coming up on your rear real fast. He NEEDS to be able to see you, especially through a dust storm.

Forward facing lighting is only good so you can see what is coming up behind you. If you don't run chase lights on a trail at night, you SHOULD NOT be running. Chase lights are also recommended during the day for events where vehicles are not staged far enough apart OR you have a fast guy coming up on a slow guy. But those types of events (that most of us go to) have people who REALIZE there are non-pros on the course, so they WILL look for you.

But if you are doing REAL baja style racing... YEAH you MUST have chase lights because it's an all out brawl. Hell i've seen videos where if you're running slow and DON'T move you're getting bumped :)

So with that said, that forward light is going to be useful for night runs so you can see. Trust me. At night, off-road you want as much lighting as you can. It's a whole different animal on the trails at night.

Check out this video of my truck running at night. It's a lower angle but i lit it up like it was day time and it made the night run really fun. I had no issues seeing around me (4x LP9, 6x Squadron Pro, 2x XL80 though so a LOT of light)

cool -spent last weekend running 300 miles off-road to and from Laughlin NV thru the Mojave desert. most of the guys had the GJ third light and YES it is easy to see. I do prefer to keep the stock third brake light, but seems like the downside to the S2 back up lights is they may be prone to rock crawling damage and they are lower thus harder to see. and cost more with the upfitter harness. Also when I was leading it was helpful to see the truck behind ne with their front lights.

Doesn't seem to block very much to me.. But note that I'm not running the licence plate in front of it.
